If you were reading earlier this week you saw my post about spray painting a lamp coral. Once that was finished it looked so damn good that it made it hard to find a shade that could live up to such a high standard. Some dollar store daisies inspired me to try to transform the shade and I have to say, it may have even have become the star of this dynamic duo.
WHAT YOU NEED
Any kind of dollar store flower will work. I used 10 bunches with 5 flowers per bunch. I ended up with only 1 flower left over in the end.
Cut the stem off each flower as close to the base as you can get. I tried wire cutters first but ended up using scissors. I was able to get much closer to the base with scissors.
Add a generous glob of hot glue to the base of the flower.
And stick 'em on.
There was no rhyme or reason to the order I used. I just tried to make sure they covered the shade but could each stretch out their petals.
